The 4-Way Test
Four questions that guide every Rotaractor in thought, word, and deed.
Created in 1932 by Herbert J. Taylor, the 4-Way Test has become one of the most widely used and quoted ethical guides in the world. It is used by Rotary and Rotaract members globally to evaluate the things they think, say, or do. Before acting, ask yourself these four questions:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
"The 4-Way Test was created by Herbert J. Taylor in 1932 and adopted by Rotary International in 1943. It is a simple, ethical guide for evaluating all decisions in personal and professional life."
